Jane Van Doe - >> The Earth Quaked (Earthquake Chile 8.8 Earthquake Haiti 7.0 2010 Earthquake Chile Haiti 2010)

The plates are silently shifting, drifting.
The planet rumbles, the ground is lifting,
then dropping - falling- smashing - smacking.
The walls of man begin violently cracking.
In seconds it's over, in silence, then moans,
crying - shrieking - sirens - groans.
I'm trapped in rubble, crushed, alone.
I try to cry out, my voice is dead.
Dust fills my lungs, my mind pounds dread.
I choke on air; blood rushes my head,
My brain screams out, from agony within,
as pain is gushing through my skin.
In this tomb, I lie and wait,
for help, or for the hands of fate.
Oh please, dear God, let me survive.
The Earth has Quaked. I’m buried alive.
